Well Roots Foundation Inc. is a non-profit, non-political organization committed to restoring dignity and opportunity by providing clean, safe, and sustainable drinking water to primary schools and rural communities in Uganda.
We are officially incorporated in Massachusetts, USA, and registered in Uganda, with our headquarters in Massachusetts and strong field operations in Kayunga (Central Uganda) and Lira (Northern Uganda).
Lira District, where we have an active and growing presence, is a region that still bears the scars of decades of conflict—including devastation caused by warlord Joseph Kony and the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). Today, these communities are striving to rebuild—and access to clean water is the foundation of recovery.
